Zimbra Collaboration carried a zero-day vulnerability for more than a month, offering hackers a real field day that resulted in nearly 900 servers (Opens in a new tab) are hacked.
Kaspersky researchers noticed the vulnerability reported on the Zimbra forum, after which all kinds of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) groups took advantage of the hacking of countless servers.
Kaspersky has classified the flaw as a remote code execution vulnerability that allows threatening actors to send an email containing a malicious file that spreads Webshell to a Zimbra server without triggering an antivirus alert. It is now tracked as CVE-2022-41352. Some researchers claim that as many as 1,600 servers have already been hacked as a result.

The researchers later said that at least 876 servers were compromised before a workaround was shared, and a patch was released. However, about two months after the initial report, and while Zimbra was about to release a fix, Volexity said it had counted around 1,600 compromised servers.
Zimbra then launched the patch, and brought her cooperation (Opens in a new tab) Suite up to version 9.0.0 p27. In it, the company replaced the defective component (cpio) with Pax, and removed the exploitable code.
The first attacks began in September 2022, and targeted servers in India and Turkey. The first raids were carried out against “low-interest” targets, which led the researchers to conclude that the hackers were only testing the capabilities of the flaw, before moving on to more profitable targets. However, after public disclosure of the vulnerability, threat actors accelerated it, in order to use it as much as possible, before Zimbra released a patch.
System administrators unable to immediately apply the patch are urged to at least seek installation for a workaround, as the number of threat actors actively exploiting the vulnerability in the wild remains high.

Analysis: Soul Levels in the GPU Physical World
In addition to this support stand, Manli explains that the Gallardo RTX 4090 has a reinforced metal (aluminum) backplate for added “structural rigidity,” and it’s a totally smart looking card. Although we’re not at all sure about the partial coverage of one of the three fans with the metal shroud partially overlapping it. (That couldn’t be a good idea in terms of airflow, could it?)
VideoCardz notes that this is a 3-slot card, but in Manli’s press release and specs, it clearly states that it’s a 3.5-slot board, so about the expected size (and somewhat bulky). But hopefully these above features will help as they were designed for, and the spirit level system will let you know of any dips.
In theory anyway, but what if your computer isn’t really level – or rather, the desk it’s sitting on isn’t level, or the room’s floor isn’t really level? You can get an actual spiritual level to check these things out first, of course. Similarly, it could be said that you can stick a spirit level on any board to check it (with the computer turned off, normally, and take the usual precautions), but the point of this integrated effort is that it will appear constantly, over time, if there is any problem with the development.
However, it’s still pretty interesting – and with a support chip in place, there shouldn’t be any issues – so perhaps that’s why Manli didn’t mention the integrated spirit level system on their webpage for the Gallardo RTX 4090. Or at Nowhere in the specs, or a press release for that matter.
However, we have nothing against trying new ideas, and it doesn’t hurt to have the system, even if we’re not really sure of the added value here.
Apple is running out of months to get a file 2022 iPad Pro Actually in 2022, but it is said that they will arrive “in a matter of days” – and Apple is also said to have launched a new role for all iPad tablets.
This comes from the usually trusted Mark Gurman at Bloomberg (Opens in a new tab), who said the updated 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro will run the latest Apple M2 processor to increase performance by about 20%. I think Halbrand piqued his interest and sparked something inside Celebrimbor. Being the creative person, go with it and see where it takes you.
“Obviously he’s not explicitly said to be Feanor’s grandson. He has Feanor’s hammer but it doesn’t refer to him in a familial sense. So there’s a battle between trying to improve his grandfather. Speaking of Halbrand – or rather Sauron as we learn in Episode 8 of Prime video View – unintentionally had a role in its creation. The showrunner has a very clear plan, and I’m familiar with some of them at this point. We’ll really see him transform into that character who’s always thinking about the future. We’ve already seen that, But in season two, it’s really going to be pronounced.”

It’s still very early days for Windows 11 – we’re not even on the first anniversary of the update’s announcement. However, going back to the previous versions, we expect Windows 12 to arrive in late 2024, just like Windows 10 support ends.
Windows 12 supported devices
When Microsoft announced the availability of Windows 11, the main requirement was for devices to have a file A hardware feature called TPM is enabledwhich is a security feature that can be found on most motherboards.
While Microsoft will likely make the same requirement again, it may be at a point where the TPM is enabled on almost every computer anyway.
Other than that, it will likely have similar requirements to Windows 11:

DirectX 12 / WDDM 2.x compatible graphics
Internet connection
What we want to see
We don’t know much about Windows 12 yet, or whether the rumored upgrade will ever become a reality, but we have a pretty good idea of what we want from it, with the following features topping our list.
1. Integrate Skype and Teams into MSN Messenger 12

It’s no secret that Microsoft’s efforts at video calling and collaboration through messaging apps have been less than stellar in recent years. At a time when people needed to communicate more remotely, it was Zoom that took the lead and left Skype bewilderingly by the wayside.
Although there are some new features that have been brought to both Teams and Skype, there is still an air of confusion as to which one you should use. If you need to participate in a job interview that’s in Teams, for example, you’ll need to quickly install the app and make sure it works.
Instead, let’s see them retire and mark a fresh start for Windows 12, with MSN Messenger back to do the job that these two apps struggled with.
Not only do we want to see the classic alerts, winks, and sounds back if users want to, but we’ll also be keen on powerful features to make it go toe-to-toe with Zoom, Google Meets, and FaceTime. You probably have Slack integration, so if a video meeting is needed, it can prompt in a channel and with one button, MSN Messenger will launch with the desired invitees.
Microsoft needs to restart the way it sees itself for messaging apps, and the return of MSN Messenger could be a great start to that.
2.Live wallpaper

Similar features have been in iPhone and Android phones for several years now, with animations moving across these devices. But for PC and Mac, it has been converted to third-party applications, such as wallpaper engine (Opens in a new tab)To be able to have animated wallpapers with the ability to view information from your computer.
For something similar in Windows 12, Microsoft can increase its efforts on themes, something that has seen improvements in Windows 11, thanks to its dark themes.
Having a dedicated wallpapers section, where you can put static bytes of information on your desktop working with an animated live wallpaper, can appeal to all kinds of users.
Microsoft can also bring back previous backgrounds, like the slope of a hill in Windows XP, but make them animated, along with some clouds that display battery status or weather.
This can dramatically refresh your desktop and make it more up to date, without having to rely on widgets or the taskbar to display changes.
3. A dedicated podcast app

While it’s great to see the return of Windows Media Player from Microsoft, having extra features like podcasts seems irrelevant to the topic of Media Player.
macOS has had its own podcast app since Big Sur in 2019, but if you wanted to use a similar app on Windows, it’s not clear where to start, as Microsoft doesn’t offer a dedicated podcast app.
That’s why Windows 12 should include a dedicated podcast app that can also be used on other platforms, such as iOS and Android, so that your subscriptions can be synced across all your devices.
Podcasts are very popular, and managing them all in a first-party app would be great for Windows users. It’s something that can really help motivate the company’s efforts to make content available on almost every device.
4. Custom streaming app

For years, there have been apps like OBS and Twitch that provide ways to broadcast what you’re playing or watching with others. However, these apps have always required that extra effort to make sure you’re streaming to viewers in good quality, with low latency.
Then there is the extra aspect of Peripherals used by banners To help show it in a better picture, or Stream Decks to easily control its settings with hotkeys.
It can be hard to manage multiple apps just to control all of them, which is why Windows 12 can benefit from having a single app that can manage your broadcasts and peripherals.
Microsoft has been pushing games in Windows 11 since it was announced in June 2021, with a redesign of the Xbox app and HDR support. But countless gamers are also streaming these games via Windows, so there is a great opportunity here.
Having a single app to control, say, loop lights and streaming for viewers is attractive, turning the heavy load into a single app. It can automate broadcasts based on the schedule and games being played, along with different lighting scenarios for different times of the day.
This may encourage more gamers to see Windows as a service, as Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has been declared Since the release of Windows 10 in 2015, while also making Windows 12 an encouraging prospect for live stream creators to gain more followers and income for their professions.
5. Companion app for Android

The screen panels appear to be ordering from Samsung (according to Previous rumors), and it will run at a resolution of 2208 x 1840. The screen is said to offer an average brightness of 800 nits, a maximum brightness of 1200 nits, and a refresh rate that can reach 120 Hz. The dimensions of the unfolded device are reported as 123 mm x 148 mm.
Sensor Specifications
As for the cameras, the Pixel Fold is said to feature a rear camera made up of Sony IMX787 main (64MP) and IMX386 (12.2MP) telephoto lenses and S5K3J1 (10MP) telephoto lenses. The internal screen camera is said to use a Sony IMX355 sensor (8MP), with the S5K3J1 (10MP) sensor on the external screen.
Some of these sensor specs have been mentioned before, but as we get closer to the Pixel Fold’s launch, details are starting to gather from several sources – raising the possibility that they’re already accurate.
Speaking of the launch, the foldable phone is widely expected to debut At some point in 2023 (After originally rumored for 2022.) As always, pricing will be decisive, expected somewhere in the region of $1,400 (around £1,255 / AU$2,260).
Analysis: Emphasis is placed on this fold
We’ve heard that Google has been working on a foldable phone for a long time at this point (although we’re not in the apple car Earth in terms of longevity). Given the frequency of leaks we’re hearing now, it looks like the launch is getting close.

Famous actor Charles Edwards wants rings of strength Season two introduces a deep elf character – and then explores their friendship in more detail.

This person is Cirdan the Shipwright, one of the oldest elves in existence who has been awarded one of the Honorary Rings of Power. Serdan will surely get one of those pieces of jewelry after the three rings have been forged The last episode of the first season of The Rings of Power.
Understandably, Edwards is excited to see Cirdan’s introduction in a live ability. However, he’ll be just as excited, if not more so, to see Narvi debut on Lord of the Rings TV. In the source material, there is little mention of the close relationship between the pair, so watching another elf’s friendship through Celebrimbor and Narvi on screen would make for a great watch.

As exciting as Narvi’s participation in The Rings of Power Season 2, though Edwards isn’t sure if the dwarf character will be able to appear in Prime video View the next batch of episodes. Basically, a lot will depend on whether the show’s writers and Amazon have the right to bring Narvi into the fold.

Microsoft has announced that a new version of DirectStorage will be released to game developers before the end of 2022, and will come a significant step forward in terms of accelerating load times with SSD’s.
As you may know, DirectStorage is the feature that debuted on Xbox that delivers faster load times – and better performance in loading game assets in the big open world titles – and is It first arrived for Windows PC back in March.
What Microsoft has now open (Opens in a new tab) (Hint hat to Tom’s devices (Opens in a new tab)) is that DirectStorage 1.1, a new version built with GPU decompression technology, will be here very soon. Although there aren’t any games you’ll benefit from (yet – we’ll get back to this obviously crucial point).
Microsoft has already told us that DirectStorage (DS) will reduce load times by up to 40% – for games running on fast NVMe SSDs running on Windows 11 And this new piece of the DS puzzle, GPU Decompression, will deliver something in the order of doubling load-time performance, the company promises.
Normally, decompression (for compressed game assets, which has to be minified due to its huge size) is powered by the CPU, but what Microsoft does is turn that grunt work directly into the GPU.
Microsoft explains: “Graphics are very efficient at performing reproducible tasks in parallel, and we can take advantage of this capability along with the bandwidth of a high-speed NVMe drive to do more work simultaneously.”
In a Microsoft demo, the company explained that when DirectStorage is running with a GPU decompressor, compared to traditional CPU decompression, “scenes are loaded approximately three times faster and the CPU is almost completely freed up for use in other game processes.” (In this demo, the processor saw only 15% of max usage, by the way, compared to 100% usage when the DS wasn’t used.)
Now, keep in mind that this is a carefully chosen and ‘highly optimized’ offering (in Microsoft’s own words), but it certainly promises some big gains overall, which should see games that support DirectStorage load – and run – more smoothly. -circular.
Analysis: Forspoken Sadly Won’t Come (Still)
It’s worth noting that while DirectStorage is built with ultra-fast NVMe SSDs in mind, it will still work with slower SSDs (and hard disks indeed, to some extent); But the effect will not be nearly as obvious. Storage acceleration technology will also work well on Windows 10 devices as well, but Windows 11 introduces an advance in the storage optimization interface which again means DS delivers more impact. (Also, you need a file Contemporary GPU For DS to work, i.e. one with DX12 support and Shader Model 6).
Still the main catch is that although the work on DirectStorage is going well, there is still computer games that already supports the technology. We were supposed to get our first DS show game this month, Forspoken, But it was delayed until January 2023 (And it was actually brought back before then, which is disappointing.)
However, we only have a few months left – assuming there are no more hiccups – but until then, it’s just one game. No doubt it will be a while before broader support is adopted among PC game developers, but when it does, it could become a compelling reason to upgrade to Windows 11 for gamers (and a good reason to get an NVMe SSD for those who haven’t). You haven’t yet made the jump to the storage interface.)
AMD and Pixar are joining forces once again for this year’s RenderMan Challenge, the pair announced.
The challenge is that artists, graphic designers, and other content creators bring their cinematic visions to life with Pixar. visual effects and animation software rendering.

This year’s theme is ‘NASA Exploration’ – undoubtedly inspired by Pixar’s latest space cinema outing, Light year. Challengers can make use of a range of scientifically accurate 3D models, from telescopes to planets, courtesy of the US Space Agency.
“With each RenderMan challenge, it is amazing to see how the posts become more and more complex and complex each time,” said Dylan Sisson, RenderMan Digital Artist at Pixar and one of the 10 judges on the panel.
“With the advancements we are seeing in hardware and software, this now allows individual artists to create images of ever-increasing complexity and sophistication. It is a fantastic opportunity for competitors to unleash their creative vision using these state-of-the-art technologies.”
Along with the partnership announcement, AMD, which recently made waves with AMD Ryzen 9 7950X Wizard, has unveiled a new movie detailing how the company is working with Pixar and NASA to make this year’s RenderMan Challenge “easier and more inspiring” than ever before.

The positive hype around Sonic Frontiers continues with the release of the latest gameplay trailer, which shows combat and upgrades.
Sonic Frontiers, coming to PS5And the xbox x . series| S and converts on me November 8, will not be a simple dash from A to B across the Starfall Islands. Sonic will have plenty of enemies like aliens to deal with along the way. Fortunately, the latest trailer for the game shows that our son is ready to take on them with a new and improved arsenal of attacks and abilities.
Even better, the new additions look really fun to use. The trailer shows moves like the improved aim attack and drop dash, along with all-new additions like the Phantom Rush, which left Sonic later photos of himself dazzling enemies with a flurry of punches and kicks. Then there’s Sonic Boom. A cheeky reference, but also an attack with Sonic firing a series of bowed projectiles that will leave Street Fighter 6Guile shy.
After a disastrous early reveal, each trailer did little to restore the image of Sonic Frontier. As a longtime Sonic fan, I have already become amazed by this game and I think it could be very good.

So the fight in Sonic Frontiers seems okay. But why is this such a big deal? Well, simply because combat is something that Sonic games rarely – if ever – get it right.
Shadow the Hedgehog has completely missed the mark with its impractical (and shockingly edgy) focus on weapon-based combat. Sonic and the Black Knight, a game that I feel is understated, disappointed me wi Motion-based sword play. Sonic Unleashed approached its Werehog combat sections and almost game-like movement set, but it felt sluggish and not cooked enough to play.
Sonic Frontiers is a drastic change in that it’s the first time I’ve seen a fight in a Sonic game and I thought, ‘Yeah, that looks really good’. Obviously, we won’t really know how these new abilities and upgrades feel until we have the game in hand. But compared to the relatively recent sonic powers, Frontiers definitely sound more polished overall.
