Movewhich provides a robotics platform for the development of autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and automated guided vehicles (AGVs), raised $8.2 million in funding.

BOWE . group She led the round, which also included participation from existing investors in MOV.AI, State of Mind Ventures, NFX and Viola Ventures. BOWE Group is a supplier of smart automation and IoT software solutions. The company Augsburg in Germany is a subsidiary of the Possehl Group.

“We are very optimistic about the ability of MOV.AI to modernize the robotics market, a market that is a cornerstone of modern industrial automation and poised for hyper-growth,” said Joachim Kocher, Managing Director of BOWE GROUP. “The MOV.AI robotics engine platform enables seamless human-robot collaboration on automation projects – something the BOWE Group has experienced first-hand as a customer. The digital transformation occurring in the logistics space requires flexibility, operational agility and maintainability. MOV.AI provides the complete infrastructure and tools Necessary to create and operate fleets of any AMR”.

MOV.AI’s robotics engine platform is changing how AMRs are created by separating software from hardware. Developing and deploying AMR can be costly and time consuming, in part due to the inflexible bot software that is tightly bound to bot hardware.

The bot engine platform can accelerate development and deployment by offering enterprise-grade tools essential for advanced automation for both AMR manufacturers and automation integrators. With the platform, manufacturers can more quickly differentiate their bots, and an automation integrator can deploy in just days instead of months.

“We are excited to have an innovative leader like BOWE GROUP join our strong group of investors and lead this round,” said MOV.AI CEO Moti Kushner. “The pressure on supply chains creates an opportunity for AMR manufacturers and automation integrators, who need to rapidly develop and deploy robots that meet customer needs. BOWE GROUP is a leader in inland logistics and automation. Their knowledge and experience will drive MOV.AI’s ability to meet customer needs and expand our reach to market.

We are grateful to our investors – State of Mind Ventures, NFX, Viola Ventures, and now BOWE GROUP – for their continued belief in our vision and our ability to implement it. Their trust as demonstrated in this tour helps us drive change in the market and provide our customers with the much needed solution.”

MOV.AI announces partnership with OusterLtd., a manufacturer of digital LiDAR sensors, in May 2022. The partnership integrates the two companies’ solutions for industrial equipment manufacturers interested in automation.
