The Mandalorian season 3 You will pick up immediately after the events Boba Fett book — but if you don’t want to spoil these events, we suggest navigating away from this page faster than the Millennium Falcon in hyperspace.

Based on the first trailer for the upcoming season (below), we know that new episodes of the series starring Pedro Pascal will find Mando and Grogu reunited but more alone than ever.

Full spoilers follow the book of Boba Fett and the plot of The Mandalorian Season 3.

After going their separate ways at the end The Mandalorian season 2the pair met again in Boba Fett Book Episode 5When Grogu decides to abandon his Jedi training with Luke Skywalker in favor of traveling the galaxy with his heavily armored companion.

In The Mandalorian season 3, it will be like old times for Mando and Grogu – except it won’t. The former takes off his helmet in the book Boba Fett, thus severing all remaining ties to his Mandalorian brethren. Boss honcho Bo-Katan is later on in his case, and we expect that tension to form the narrative backbone of the new season.

There are several additional plot threads The Mandalorian season 3 could tie into as well, including those related to what remains a mystery. Dark Saber and the Empire’s shady use of Grogu’s magical blood. We know that Our little green friend will display even more Force-based powers in new episodes of the show, so we’re excited to see just how strong he is.

This kid has magical powers. [is] 50 years old, and he can see the future,” Giancarlo Esposito (who plays villain Moff Gideon) told a young Galaxicon fan (Across slash movie (Opens in a new tab)), and we want everyone, ultimately on this show, to know that [Grogu] It can save our universe.”

In other words, we expect the events to ramp up in The Mandalorian season 3. Hopefully, the show can maintain its winning formula and continue the hot streak established by its sibling from the recent Star Wars franchise, Andorwhich we described in our review as “probably the best Star Wars show yet” (making it, by extension, one of the The best Disney Plus TV shows seen so far).

Here’s the all-important release date news for the last time: The Mandalorian season 3 is landing Disney Plus On March 1, 2023.
