Govt to buy 100 high tech vehicles for Islamabad Security

The Govt. of Pakistan is going to buy 100 high tech vehicles for boosting the security in Islamabad: the Capital city of Pakistan. After buying these vehicles, the security check post will be eliminated.

Keeping in view the relevant details, during the federal cabinet meeting, this decision has taken for purchasing the vehicles. The Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rasheed reported that in Islamabad already out of 33, 30 check posts have been removed from federal capital. Remained 3 posts will be removed after purchasing the 100 digitally equipped vehicles.

Besides this matter, this meeting also gives approval regarding the development of the Rangers outside and inside the polling station for strengthening the security: by-polls of Tharparkar constituency, the NA-221.

This meeting was held in Islamabad with Prime minister Imran Khan as chairperson. They also discussed the economic and political situations as well by keeping in view the pandemic time. The meeting also briefed the Prime minister about the administration of COVID-19 vaccines.

The approval regarding the disparity reduction has also issued to the federal Govt. employees for constructing the office in Karachi of Federal Services Tribunal. During this meeting, the cabinet deferred an appointment as well for the sake of the managing director (MD) of the National Transmission & Despatch Company (NTDC).

For restructuring of the Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM), during this meeting, the federal cabinet issued permission to the board of governors as well.
