Mian Aslam Iqbal Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce has disclosed that the government of Punjab is designed to install Auto Parts Technology Park near Lahore in an offer to help the developing industrialization.
The new means will be established at the Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, Sheikhupura, a Special Economic Zone of the multi billion-dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and one of the eight industrial parks performing under the Punjab government.

During a session with members of the Punjab Industrial Estate Development and Management Company, Iqbal indicated that the Auto Parts Technology Park would be installed on nine acres of land and it would enable the auto sector in terms of the product plan, training centers, parts producing, evaluating and associated facilities.
The industrial park is situated near Lahore on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway. This project was launched during the last government’s term with the name of Quaid-e-Azam Apparel Park.
Although, the name was replaced during PTI’s tenure and Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the park in July 2020.
The Quaid-e-Azam Business Park would have an amalgamation of various industries including textile, plastic, janitorial products, garments, pharmaceutical, auto parts, cosmetics and cold storage. The minister possessed that the Punjab government had covered the way for an industrial innovation by establishing new industrial zones in the province.
The colonialism of industrial estates can advance economic development. Although, the Punjab Industrial Estate Development and Management Company should emphasis on the colonisation of industrial zones,” Iqbal highlighted. He revealed that the Sundar Industrial Estate was being enlarged to promote industrialists and boost investment.
The provincial minister gave instruction that order should be support for developing the land purchase model for the enlarged project and said PC-I of new plans would be accomplished by July 15, 2021.
Mian Aslam Iqbal Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce emphasized, Security of Chinese and other foreign investors should also be boosted.
Giving instructions for initiating development work on the Chunian Aqua Business Park, the minister told that the Bahawalpur industrial estate would be initiated after Eid.
Moreover, Mian Aslam Iqbal Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce said that Sundar-Raiwind and Manga-Raiwind roads would be expanded to improve traffic flow in the Sundar Industrial Estate.
Auto parts makers told that the country acquired such economic zones for the auto sector, but the government should also make sure that the park should not be controlled by Chinese technology only.
