Metallic Huawei Honor 5X Phablet Launched in Pakistan

One of the latest Honor phablets in being brought into Pakistan – the Huawei Honor 5X. It is a X series smartphones in the Honor series and comes with more higher end specifications than the normal sized Honor 5 and is also a major upgrade over the Honor 4x.

About the Huawei Honor 5X

This phablet has a metal design on an aircraft grade aluminium body with a 5.5 inch 1080p IPS LCD display. It has an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with 2 or 3 GB RAM depending on the availability in the market. This version is to be launched with 2GB Ram with 16GB internal storage and microSD card support of upto 128GB.

Inspite of the low cost, the Honor 5X has state-of-art fingerprint sensor at the back just below the camera with a device unlock speed of  just 0.4 seconds. Also next to the fingerprint scanner is a 13MP camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP camera in the front.

The battery department has a 3,000mAh unit for Quick Charge of upto 50% in 30minutes. The phone comes with dual SIM support and 4G LTE support on both SIM slots.

Honor 5X will be equipped with Android Lollipop with Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.1 on top. Availability of the phone is made in 3 colors and is placed a little higher than the price in the Chinese market.

By making the availability of premium smartphones for all price ranges Huawei is attempting to take control of the Pakistan smartphone market. The launch of 5X brings the best of  smartphones which may be something the Pakistan smartphone market needs from one of the top phone manufacturers of the world.
