Microsoft has started rolling out a program iCloud Integration of photo library inside Windows 11in the form of an update to the Photos app.

Once users receive the update, they must download the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store to link their accounts.

Microsoft claims that the decision to merge the two platforms was made with user experience in mind.
“We know that many Windows customers have photo and video collections on their sites Iphone (Opens in a new tab) They wish they were able to view it on their computer,” Grochocki wrote.
“The iCloud Photos integration will make it easier for those with an iPhone to directly access all their cherished memories in one organized place and is another step in our ongoing effort to make experiences on Windows 11 seamless.”
The new feature is similar to the modern Microsoft resolution To allow playback of image libraries Android phones to use with Microsoft 365 on the web. This integration works similarly, as an additional application is required to link image libraries across platforms.
