“Ghostery started with a community of people who were determined to bring the power of the internet back into the hands of the public,” said company CEO Jean-Paul Schmitz. “We have since grown this small community to include millions of users, all of whom are helping us fight for a future where Online privacy is a fundamental human right.”

However, those who wish can still contribute through financial donations. There are two plans to choose from, starting at $3.99 and $8.99 per month respectively.
The contributor-free account is still available as well. This includes adblocker and anonymous browser With a built-in special search engine. With the provider’s support, you will be able to unlock some advanced features to better control the data you share online.
Explaining the decision, Ghostery Product Manager Krzysztof Modras explained that users’ experience is invaluable to improve their products in a market where “technology monopolies continue to find new ways to collect and exploit user data”.
As Schmetz emphasizes, true collaboration with users will always be central to Ghostery’s core mission: building a user-first Internet.
“The contributor program represents our continued commitment to this vision and expands access to essential privacy tools at a time when consumer data is more vulnerable than ever,” he said.
