Shown across glamorous collections of womenswear, menswear and gender-neutral clothing, vibrant panels, decadent ruffles, and icy streetwear are among the chic motifs we captured on the runway.

The women’s clothing brand, run by Barcelona fashion designer Olga Minchin who previously made clothing for stage, film and television, presented its “The Rat Pack” collection at this year’s event. Paying homage to the actors and musicians of the 1950s and ’60s, her designs are made exclusively in Spain, mixing dress cuts, bold coloring, flashy hats, and even fedoras.
40 years into the fashion game, the leading brand has explored the catwalk in its ‘Nomad’ collection. Inspired by daring and inquisitive women, the collection was a festival of outerwear with pastel-coloured puffy jackets, suede macs, and full quilts on the runway. A new dimension to winter clothing has been revealed, and it’s safe to say we’ll channel that energy as we update our winter wardrobe.
The Storied Scorpion brand has been responsible for some of the most vibrant sizes on Runway 080 this year. Their “Euphoria” collection was pure word packaging, led by bold color combinations, random pairings, and gorgeous juxtapositions. Tartans, sequins, feathers, and shimmers, the brand truly brought the sun to its Spring-Summer 23 collection.
The non-sexual designer brought in a range of postmodern facilities inspired by outdoor activities. Playing with classic workwear and sailor apparel pieces from yesteryear, in colors reminiscent of the ocean floor and rocky South American terrain, the collection has been an icon of the brand’s history. MARTÍN ACROSS offers practical wearable fashion and endless stories, and she once again captivated the audience on the runway.
After presenting in 2018 and 2019 at MBFW Madrid and showing his collections in London and Madrid, Reveligion landed in Barcelona with its “Outsider” collection. This collection featured draped ruffles, floating gowns, and jossamer fabrics, with a mood palette driven by the sea breeze and the beauty of the landscape.
Central Saint Martins alumna Gloria Lado has brought the eikō ai brand to Spanish soil with her 080 Fashion Week “Underwater” collection. Borrowing from the imagination of a deep-sea world, the brand brought minimal, ethereal elegance, characterized by soft satin, warm sheen, and ruffles. , jacquard and breezy fabrics on the catwalk. Shades of turquoise, lavender, silver, pink, and neutrals dominated the color palette in this dreamy fashion escape.
The award-winning Barcelona brand has brought engineering in abundance with ‘vanishing points’. Playing with contrasting vertical shapes and stripes comprising strong columns in all garments, the show stole rich tones such as chocolate, mustard, camel, stone, black and red.
