On Wednesday, California-based ThroughPut introduced new geospatial capabilities to its logistics and distribution unit.
The artificial intelligence supply chain software company has announced that its logistics and material flow dashboards will allow companies to scan material flows overlaid on geographic maps to identify bottlenecks across their supply chain networks. The program will also allow organizations to identify distribution methods that do not meet OTIF standards, are crowded, or are unprofitable.
“Currently, there is no solution available on the market that can dynamically re-evaluate demand priorities, as well as your true implementation capabilities as a business or enterprise. With our new geospatial capabilities, Alla Anachenkova, Head of Product at ThroughPut, said on ThroughPut. , you get a priority business plan that helps you get more done with less capital and physical space for smoother material flow, and better inventory transfers for what actually sells well at the most profitable level. Our solutions are designed to constantly monitor variance on the demand and supply sides and leverage this knowledge to inform focused prioritization of improvements to create a sustainable competitive advantage. “
The company said the new software will help companies analyze insights and streamline route effectiveness while identifying areas where material flow is disrupted to ease bottlenecks and analyze where improvements will yield the best bottom line.
“Most solutions on the market today are aimed at fixing demand or operational inefficiencies — not both,” said Bhaskar Ballabragda, chief technology officer at ThroughPut Inc. Each of these traditionally isolated jobs that need to work together and regularly share dynamic core processes can now be analyzed, sensing, forecasting and manipulating by simplifying path efficacy via dynamically updated trends on demand, productivity and contribution per unit, OTIF percentages and optimal product mix.”
