Or, if you want to go professional, you can arrange your default seating plan so that it is arranged in the order of a teammate or colleague who presents their project update or the latest news.

The news was revealed in the Microsoft tech community Blog Posts (Opens in a new tab) Compiling some recent updates from the company’s Ignite event that may have gone under the radar.
Holly Lyman, Microsoft Teams product marketing manager, writes that the change will make meeting participants “feel like they’re in the same room during virtual meetings.” Both meeting organizers and presenters will be able to allocate seats during the call, which means you can find yourself confused multiple times.
To activate the feature, users will need to turn on Put Together for all participants of the call. Doing so will then bring up a new screen where participants can be assigned to the virtual show, so that organizers can search for specific attendees or choose from a list of everyone invited to the call.
Launched in the summer of 2020, Together Mode for Microsoft Teams brings all attendees together in a shared virtual background, with the goal of “making you feel like you’re sitting in the same room with everyone else.”
