Shibli Faraz Says, Electronic Voting Machines will make Electoral Process Fair

In current news, Shibli Faraz the Minister for Science and Technology had said that his ministry had ultimately generated the electronic voting machine which will use the elective process fair and transparent.

As per Shibli Faraz the Minister for Science and Technology,

The electronic voting machine has been established according to the demand of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). We have directed the Cabinet regarding this new machine and its advantages today.

The avail of technology in elections will be supportive for the losing contender to acknowledge the results of an election. In which electronic voting machine there is no internet and also no operating system. Because the Internet and software are defenseless, it is free from any outside intervention. The machine will

Promptly be revealed to the cabinet, all stakeholders, opposition parties, public, parliament and the Election Commission.”

These voting machines were established by utilizing local technologies, COMSATS University Islamabad, National Institute of Engineering and National University for Science and Technology National University for Science and Technology. All three of these universities were assigned to establish the particular machines.

Furthermore, the three departments could make two thousand machines where the machines vendor around sixty-five thousand PKR each. This is primarily half the price of the easy-going voting machine having bought parts.

From this time, the machines are being evaluated to make sure the devices do not undergo any cyber-attacks and where details would keep anonymous and encoded.
