Ministry of Commerce organized an interactive dinner meeting during Prime Minister’s visit to Russian Federation, with prominent Russian companies. Mr. Abdul Razak Dawood, Advisor to PM on Commerce and Investment, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister for Information, Minister for Planning, National Security Advisor were also present and pitched about business projects.
From Russian side, the Minister of Agriculture, Deputy Head of Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (FSVPS), Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation participated.
The Prime Minister in his keynote address highlighted the importance of trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Russia, and urged Russian companies to do sourcing from Pakistan. The Prime Minister also invited Russian companies to participate in the upcoming Investment Conference going to be held at the end of March in Islamabad.
B2B meetings between Pakistani businesspersons representing Home Textiles, Pharmaceuticals, Rice, Fruits & Vegetable, and their counterpart Russian companies were organized by the Trade Wing in Moscow.
Around 60 Russian companies representing Oil & Gas, Metallurgy, Construction, Railways, Locomotive Production, Agriculture, Textiles, Fruits & Vegetables, Retail Chain Stores, Pharmaceuticals sectors attended the event.
