Sony has announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released at the end of next year.
in blog post Sony has highlighted some of the biggest titles coming to PlayStation next year, and confirmed it Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 It will be released for PS5 in “Fall 2023” (most likely between September and November).
“Following the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the spider-man duo of Peter Parker and Miles Morales are back in the next chapter in Marvel’s Spider-Man film series,” the post reads. “There’s still a lot to be revealed about the game, and no matter how good the past two titles have been, we’re bound to get in on this great new original Spider-Man adventure.”
It’s been four years since Insomniac Games released the critically acclaimed game Spiderman from Marveland fans have been waiting awaiting for a sequel ever since – though Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ release in 2020 certainly helped scratch the web’s itch.
While the exact release date of the highly anticipated sequel hasn’t been confirmed yet, we now have an idea of when we’ll be web-swinging our way through the streets of New York once again.
what are you expecting
There is quite a bit of excitement when it comes to the long-awaited Spider-Man sequel. The Trailer detection which was shown in Playstation show September 2021 revealed some interesting details.
Arguably the most exciting part of the trailer is the surprise appearance near the end. This is when we see the evil Spider-Man villain. It looks like this space-invading symbiote will be one of the main villains Peter and Miles will see in the sequel.
There is also another ominous sound that we can hear at the end of the trailer. Hopefully this means we’re getting a two-for-one evil deal. Although it’s not clear who he is yet, our money’s on it being Kraven the Hunter.
Aside from details about the two villains, not much is known about Spider-Man 2 other than that it will be a PS5 exclusive, skipping Playstation 4 And the ps4 pro completely.
It looks like 2023 might finally be the year PlayStation fans will have to work it out and upgrade their console if they want to keep up with the latest games. I knew it would happen soon; There’s only so long I can hold onto the PS4 Pro.
