Leading Hyperreal AI platform Metaphysic appoints Joe Plaete as Director of Product Innovation

Former Disney CG Supervisor, VFX, and Veteran Innovation Expert will lead the Metaphysic team to build the Hyperreal Metaverse

Platee arrives from the creators of CGI and George Lucas– Industrial Light & Magic Entertainment, the Walt Disney Company-owned entertainment company, where he led ABBA’s first musical experience: Voyage FX. In this role, Plaete will lead the innovation and production team at Metaphysic to pioneer the creation of the hyperrealistic metaverse.

Plaete brings nearly two decades of experience in VFX, innovation and post-production in the entertainment industry to Metaphysic. After his appointment, Plaete played a crucial role in the modern metaphysical history-making career on America’s Got Talent. Over the course of three shows, Plaete has worked alongside co-founder Chris Ohm and the team that will offer their first ultra-realistic avatars of the show’s judges, host, and king of rock and roll, Elvis PresleyTo sing and dance on stage. The company took fourth place in a highly competitive season, demonstrating the power of super-realistic AI to shape the future of entertainment, Hollywoodand web3.
