Garmin has unveiled its second generation of Marq watches. Super quality set, even more Best Garmin Watches Like the high-end Fenix and Epix sports watches, this collection of “luxury” watches is tailored with specific sports in mind, with five watches featuring features for athletes, golfers, sailors, pilots and adventurers.
As you might be able to tell the price of the ‘Luxury’ line, these watches aren’t cheap, starting at 1900 dollars in the United States (Opens in a new tab)And the £1600 in the UK (Opens in a new tab) And the 3250 AUD (Opens in a new tab)in Australia for a slightly less expensive sports model. The watches are made with a Titanium Grade5 case, domed sapphire glass lenses, and premium straps depending on which model you choose that have materials like more titanium, hybrid leather, woven nylon, a 16-day battery, and (a new addition to the lineup) an AMOLED touchscreen.
All watches offer wrist heart rate, breathing, stress tracking, advanced sleep insights, and Garmin’s excellent body energy and battery monitoring tool. We should hope so too: for these prices you have to do everything in the bar to make your coffee in the morning. Garmin’s new Jet Lag Advisor will also debut on Marq watches, helping you minimize Jet Lag effects if you’re traveling internationally before a big race, for example.
Garmin says the new Jet Lag Adviser helps users feel their best mentally and physically. Using the user’s sleep history and other metrics, the consultant recommends the amount of light exposure, sleep schedule, and exercise to reduce the jet lag effects of their next long or multi-destination flight.

Analysis: different but the same
The watches are clearly aimed at big spenders and frequent travelers who want all the data from a smartwatch with luxury brand trims like Patek Phillipe or Omega. The different materials and functions are specifically designed for people whose lives revolve around certain sports, hobbies, or disciplines. However, except for the cosmetics, the interiors of all the watches are pretty much the same.
Looking at the spec lists and comparing them to each other, it’s clear that most, if not all, golf items are available in the other four hours. The site’s specs list shows the hashtags across all golf features in the other four hours. Jet Lag Advisor, the Aviator watch boycott, will also be available across all devices, and we sincerely hope this rolls out to the rest of the Garmin sports watch lineup as this sounds like a nice feature.
But in addition to a few highly specialized widgets, the differences lie in bezel patterns, bracelet materials, watch color schemes, and of course marketing.
This second-generation Marq watch is an excellent fitness and luxury watch packed with the latest Garmin gadgets, but we can’t imagine that the Sportsman, for example, is much better than the Raed 955 Solar When it comes to tracking. It also misses the solar technology that extends the Power Glass battery in the much cheaper Enduro and Forerunner watches from Garmin.
What you pay for is the deluxe package, an eye-catching candy bar that feels like it belongs in a smart suit rather than a tracksuit.
