The Witcher: Monster Slayer debuts in July 2021, and we at TRG have enjoyed its unique mix of Pokemon Go meets Elder Scrolls. However, she is destined to have an uncharacteristically short lifespan for an almost immortal wizard.

The Spokko team thanked its player base for their continued support. Filled with quests, events and adventure, this journey would not have been possible without you – together, we have defeated over 100 million monsters worldwide, after all!

The sad news comes from Gwent: The Witcher Card Game announcing that it will end its card pool in 2023. Once it’s rounded out, the developers will pass the reins to the players by letting them control the metadata. Players will be able to use the in-game client to adjust the strength of each card, which can be great for their long-term popularity or leaving them dead in the water.

With the announcement of five new Witcher games, incl One with multiple abilitiesHopefully, CD Projekt RED has some great news up its sleeve. All of these cuts should leave them wide open to focus on their bigger projects, but let’s hope there aren’t any more Bad surprises are in store.
