Special Communication Organization, commonly known as SCO, has announced its commitment to empowering youth under its Vision 2025.
According to Pakistan Tech News, 100 state-of-the-art IT setups have been established in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, whereas more than 700 people have been provided employment under the SCO Vision 2025. Also, 1,500 freelancers have been empowered for a brighter future in the IT sector.
In addition, Pakistan’s first women-only software technology park was established at Muzaffarabad under SCO Vision 2025, and autonomous residential centers of special persons were also set up.
On this occasion, the Director General of SCO said that as per the SCO Vision 2025, a total of 100 joint IT parks have been established in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. These are expected to bring in about 20 million dollars in foreign exchange.
He added that these IT parks were completed in just a record period of two years. In fact, SCO is determined to empower the youth and bring an IT revolution to the region.
