According to the report by Pakistan Tech News, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has achieved a milestone by providing Artificial Intelligence education in all public schools within the province. The goal is to prepare students not only with modern technology but also make them future-ready.
According to the officials of the KP government, the AI curriculum is being implemented at middle and secondary levels in the first phase, where concepts of machine learning and data science, along with basic coding, will be taught to students through practical examples. This step will bring the education system in line with 21st-century digital learning standards.
Under this program, specialized AI training workshops and digital teaching tools for teachers are also being provided. The government, with the collaboration of local IT experts and universities, has designed a curriculum relevant to the socio-educational context in Pakistan.
Experts say this initiative will bring a transformation in Pakistan’s education sector, changing the role of students, who will no longer be confined to rote memorization but will be incentivized towards creative problem-solving and innovation.
This, according to an analysis carried out by Pakistan Tech News, is a bold step that the KP Government has taken, acting as a practical model in taking AI literacy to the grassroots level, preparing the country’s future workforce for the global technology race.
