A high-level meeting of the Pakistan Crypto Council has been scheduled for June 2, which will be chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the meeting will focus on regulations and the legal framework for digital currency. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Bilal Bin Saqib, the Governor of the State Bank, the Chairman of SECP, and the Secretaries of Law and IT will also attend the meeting.
The establishment of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority will be reviewed, and the formation of an autonomous supervisory body for digital finance will be discussed.

The regulatory system will promote transparency, investor protection, and financial inclusion. The government has reiterated its serious intent to advance the digital economy.
